Skerrit tries to hide in Las Vegas?

One of the intriguing things about this Layou River Hotel fiasco is the attempt by Roosevelt Skerrit to inoculate himself from scrutiny in the lead up to elections in 2009. Skerrit was concerned that Felix Chen was meeting with his political opponents and would expose Skerrit and all the crooked shenanigans he was involved in.

Roosevelt Skerrit

In his attempts to head off that unwelcome attention, Skerrit apparently fired off a series of emails with David Hsiu, his representative to Beijing and co-conspirator in the Layou River Hotel bobol project. That is the very same project the "manufacturer of evidence", also known as the crook Kieron Pinard-Byrne collected hundreds of thousands of dollars in fees while playing fiddle with all sides, unconcerned about the conflict of interest. In the emails (below) which we were able to obtain online, Hsiu and Skerrit make plans to meet in Las Vegas, with Alick Lawrence leading the way. Skerrit even laments the fact that his secret service protection would have to be relieved in order for him to escape clandestinely to Las Vegas in order to meet Hsiu.  Take a look.
